   Seriously- When JayG was on Vacation in June with the family in Orlando we arranged a little shinding-
   RobbA, McThag, Yours Truly and a few other were on hand to imbibe and tell lies…
   I’m all for another- depending on my schedule…
   Lake City would be good-
   We can hit the range in Osceola NF, and find a good BBQ place or cook up our own at the range.

   Florida is too darn vertical. And last I heard they won’t let us South Floridians go past Lake Okeechobee without a passport, a visa and a return ticket.

   And TBG’s post made me realize I don’t know there is a list of Florida Bloggers!

     There needs to be a list. Also, regarding the passport: yes. South Florida is to the South what Gitmo is to Cuba– an enclave of an unwanted influence. YANKEE GO HOME! (chuckle)

   Now, Robb, Greg and McThag are all in the Tampa/West Coast area…
   I’m up in Jacksonville, when I’m not traveling…
   (Which is relatively often. f’rinstance – I’m in Vancouver until March 3rd…)

   Miguel- One assumes from your site/comment that you are in Miami/Dade and Dixie is in the Panhandle (poor bastard).

   In any case-
   Lake City was a good medium between Tampa – Jax – Pensacola, but adding Miami into the mix drags the common point to the south a bit…
   Orlando once again comes into play.
   Then we also have to think about the actual event-
   Lake City was a good option due to the (free) outdoor range and BBQ potential, but a little scarce on the Hotel/Motel front.

   There may be a similar opportunity/location in Orlando or in the Tampa area… But I’d have to let one of the Gulf Coasters discuss the options.

   In any case- Don’t let the idea wither on the vine…

   Lots of us Florida bloggers. Robb Allen and I have often mused about a southern region blog meetup, but the it seems we’re all pretty well spread out. I’m game though. Gimme a shout if you wanna try and put something together.
