Yet another Mao-loving hippie found in Obama’s White House. This situation is getting so absurd that it is almost surreal. The fact that anyone can like Communism after the fall of the Berlin wall is chilling.
One of my favorite military authors was a Russian who served in an All-Arms Army (mechanized/infantry brigade). He helped “pacify” Czechoslovakia, and then defected to the West later on. What made him like America and begin to question The State? Westerns.
The irony is that in modern American, liking Mao or Che is more acceptable than liking a good Western. Pity.

On that note, I got Rio Bravo on DVD for my birthday. (Had it on VHS till we got rid of the VCR.) I guess I am ultra bad, liking John Wayne and westerns.
