AmmoLand has an article about a new Chiappa .22 1911 clone for less than $300. Yes, I know it’s assembled in Ohio. Still, Chiappa makes a pretty nice gun. This is on my purchase list, third entry. Right after a PA-63 (or X-D Subcompact) and a K31 rifle. The K31 comes as soon as I build a cabinet for all my babies. Which comes after a bookcase, so I have room to put a cabinet. (sigh)
