A 2081 movie is coming out. For those of you who haven’t read it, here is the Wikipedia article about the Vonnegut story it is based on.
I read the story as a kid, in middle school. It struck me, and made me realize that dumbing myself down to help others was an idiotic idea. All men are created equal– we don’t stay that way.

I loved this story, and its lesson is so very much needed now, hopefully the movie will hold true to the ideal that Mr. Vonnegut wrote about. I cant wait for it to come out.
