So Uncle went dove hunting. I love dove hunting, and I recommend this article that Sebastian linked to in his post about the hunt. A dove field is pretty good fun, but dove hunting is best done with a ZSU, or another capable anti-aircraft system. They are excellent game birds, but a little aggravating, especially to a beginner.
However, the best way to break in a new shotgun is to take it a dove field. Trust me, there is no such thing as “just a little” dove hunting. It’s slightly addictive, and the rewards are excellent. Remember, kids, meat is murder. Tasty, tasty murder.
