Has now come to America. Now the NEA (funded by tax dollars) will be promoting artists to create works “… to promote a more civically engaged America and celebrate how the arts can be used for a positive change!” No, that’s not a conflict of interest in the least… heck, I even have an artist I can recommend to them! They’re gonna have to come up with a catchy name, though. I do have a suggestion… it might need a little tweaking, maybe shorten it a bit. They could go with “The Ministry of Truth,” but Orwell’s already spinning in his grave, so that’s probably out… any faster and he’d probably start generating his own magnetic field.
I must say, however, that I find all this old and stale. I mean, it’s all been done before… it’s like these people are begging for us to Godwin them.
And now, for the video… good stuff starts about 5:35 in.

Missed last night, but watched it this morning, and wow – the left are getting desperate and dangerous.

Did somebody page MiniTru?
The parallels to 1984 are certainly evident. More so, I recommend revisiting Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged.

Actually, having just read Atlas Shrugged, I’d rather not revisit it. Good book, but a sure cure for insomnia.
