I’ve been working around the house all day, sorting things, doing (belated) spring cleaning, getting rid of a few tree rats squirrels, and I decide to check out how my little spot on the web is doing.
My Dashboard has a graph of hits. Here’s the daily totals since Friday, when I started: 12 Friday, 13 Saturday, 26 Sunday, 56 Monday. Then I get to today… 844 views. The graph is nearly vertical. My reaction was:

Did I make the news? Has DHS/FBI/DOJ found me? What in the wide, wide, world o’ sports is a goin’ on here? (This thought took about 10 seconds. By which time the counter had ticked up to 851.) So I expand the counter, and I see two names that tell me all I need to know. Who were they? Uncle and Robb Allen. Wow. ![]()
Also, I’m very pleased at the response from all the other bloggers I’ve been in touch with. I expected a gruff “get off my lawn,” but instead the response has been supportive. Even from some pretty big names. (More on that later.)

Good luck with that. My blog (four years ago) didn’t take off at all. I got listed on a couple of small blogs, but only had about 5 views per day. My max was around 10, when I thought it was actually starting to grow. Kudos to you, kudos!

Thank you. I gotta admit, I do enjoy it. But, most of it comes from the fact that the RKBA/VRWC community does stick together. I <3 this job.

Write about what interests you. Post frequently if you want to keep the hit clicker spinning. But do have something to say.
As for me, my blog has gone idle. Too much time spent with a certain online simulation game.
Oh, and get off of my lawn you!!!!!
